CAMS Partner with Velo29 Cycling Events
CAMS is delighted to announce that our partnership with Velo29, the UK’s longest-standing sportive organiser, will continue into the 2026 season.
After the tremendous success of 2025, CAMS is delighted to continue as the title sponsor of Velo29 Sportive events for 2026.
Founded in 2011, Velo29 is driven by a passionate team of lifelong cyclists from diverse cycling backgrounds, bringing their expertise and love for the sport to every event they organise. Velo29’s unique blend of cycling enthusiasm comes together to create outstanding events. This allows them to be different, while maintaining the highest quality.

CAMS has a proud history of supporting cycling events and teams across the country. We are delighted to have three-time Olympic gold medallist Ed Clancy and former time trial world record holder Alex Dowsett as CAMS ambassadors. We also proudly sponsor Sir Bradley Wiggins’ podcast Café Aficionado, and we’re supporting Amy Hudson and her husband in their attempt to break the world record for the fastest couple to cycle around the world — 18,000 miles in 180 days.
We’re eagerly anticipating Velo29’s 2026 events, where the CAMS ambassadors plan to be in attendance throughout the year..

Chris Lane, CAMS Sales Director
“The partnership has been fantastic. We are delighted with how the events have been organised. The team has really enjoyed participating in the sportives and having the chance to speak with like-minded cyclists to explain CAMS services and to reassure them that support is on hand if they ever need our assistance.”

Richard Williamson Event Director of Velo29, added:
“2025 has been our best year to date, and we are delighted to have CAMS on board, allowing us to put on bigger and better events across the country. We have been honoured to have the CAMS team participate in the events, with their ambassadors and Olympic champions supporting our riders, which has really taken Velo29 Sportives to the next level. Here’s to another year of fantastic events!”
